The Product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for the period of time as outlined below. Defective parts or a defective product returned to Simplicity, and proven to be defective upon inspection, will be repaired, exchanged for new or comparable rebuilt parts, or exchanged for a refurbished product.
Limited Warranty for Sewing Machines and Sergers*
25 years – Manufacturing Defects to Casting
10 years – Manufacturing Defects to Mechanical Parts
5 years – Electrical, Motor, Foot Controller
1 year – Labor
Limited Warranty for Iron Presses
1 year – Any part except for ironing board cover and foam rubber padding
Warranty Procedures
First, please verify from your purchase receipt that your item is still covered under this warranty program or some fees may apply. After 1 year from the date of purchase, an estimate for the cost of labor and non-warranted procedures will be given by a Simplicity customer representative.
Any product sent for warranty service must comply with the following guidelines:
A. Contact Simplicity Customer Service at customerservice@simplicityhomecare.com or call 800-822-6691 to obtain a (RA#) return authorization number and a shipping location to submit your machine in for service.
B. Pack your machine securely in the original carton (if possible) and the original Styrofoam packing. Insert a note listing the return authorization number, your name, address, phone number, and email address and in detail all the problems with the machine.
C. Include your proof of purchase (a copy of the sales receipt).
D. On the outside of the carton, please write your name, return authorization number, and return address..
E. To protect your machine against damage in shipment, we recommend that you insure your machine for full value.
F. Pay the charges for shipment to the Service Center. The Service Center will prepay for the shipment back to the purchaser.

The warranty Does Not cover the following:
A. Normally expendable parts: needles, belts, bobbins, light bulbs, hoops, carbon brushes, needle plates, ironing board cover and rubber padding.
B. Packaging, postage or transportation from purchaser to Service Center.

The warranty is in effect provided that the machine is used only for normal household sewing or pressing purposes and not commercial use, and is given reasonably good care in accordance with the instructions provided in the instruction book. Simplicity is not responsible for damage, normal wear, accident, abuse, neglect or negligence, Acts of God, or if the machine has been worked on by an unauthorized technician.
This limited warranty is not transferable and extends only to the original purchaser when new.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER WRITTEN, ORAL, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, (INLCUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTIBILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE).
Simplicity is not responsible for any representation expressed or implied other than those contained herein. This warranty disclaims liability for incidental, or consequential damages, which the disclaimer applies during and after the warranty period. Some states do not allow the exclusion of limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
